Well it’s a Deal, as Greenlight Developments’ appeal is allowed for 48 dwellings and 64-bedroom care home on their site in Sholden, Deal in Dover District.

Greenlight Developments are absolutely thrilled to report that only this afternoon (4thJuly 2019) their appeal was allowed by the Planning Inspectorate for a development of 48 dwellings and a 64-bedroom care home at Churchfield Farm, Sholden, Deal (in Dover District Council).

It has been a long old journey with a significant number of challenges placed before us that we have had to manage and overcome during a planning application / appeal process lasting some 4 years.

This maintains the Greenlight Developments ‘genuine’ 100% track record in achieving planning permissions for our landowners.

A big thank you once again to our fantastic Team of Consultants who shared our belief and commitment in the project from the outset.

Greenlight Developments are delighted to report a fantastic end to 2018 with three Agreements exchanged this month – these being:

Land Off Wellington Drive, Cannock
A site for approximately 250 dwellings across the Local Authority boundaries of Cannock Chase and South Staffs.

Land Off Horner Avenue, Fradley
A site for approximately 120 dwellings within Lichfield District Council.

Land At Gwillams Farm, Worcester
A site for approximately 23 dwellings plus a 64 bed Care Home.

All of the above sites fit very neatly into the quality portfolio of sites that we are assembling at Greenlight Developments.

The Greenlight Developments team are pleased to report that on Friday 14th September their appeal was allowed for a 64-bedroom care home and public open space in Bicester (Cherwell District Council) by The Planning Inspectorate.

This on a site that has been reserved for recreation purposes since 1996, which has now been unlocked for development despite numerous failed attempts to do so over the past 20 years.

Greenlight Developments are pleased to report another successful planning application on Wednesday night before South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC), securing consent for 74 houses in East Hagbourne, Oxfordshire in the face of at times vocal and difficult local opposition (circa 300 in the room).

Greenlight started work on this scheme at the end of 2016 and has run a concerted and detailed project throughout 2017, engaging with the local community to try to ensure a positive outcome for all involved in the Village.  Consents in this part of the world are not readily available and it is a testament to the work done by all involved that Greenlight were commended by the Deputy Leader of SODC (Ward Councillor for East Hagbourne) for their approach in engaging with the local community.

A big thank you to all the Greenlight Consultancy Team who yet again worked very hard in assisting and in producing first class professional materials to support this now successful application, all achieved in less than 12 months from first taking this project on.

Greenlight Developments are delighted to have completed on the sale of our Rushwick site for 55 dwellings to Kier Living at the end of last week. The site was an unallocated greenfield site with this scheme for the site building upon the previous planning permission for 41 dwellings that we secured towards the end of 2015. A big thank you once again to the outstanding Greenlight Developments’ Consultancy Team who worked closely with Kier Living.

Great start to 2017 for the Greenlight Developments Team (in-conjunction with Kier Living), as Malvern Hills District Council’s Northern Area Development Management Committee resolve to grant planning permission for 55 dwellings in Rushwick, Worcestershire within 9-weeks of the detailed planning application being submitted.

A fantastic end to a successful year for the Greenlight Developments Team, which concludes with the sale of our Alfrick site; and the contracting of circa 10 acres in East Hagbourne, Oxfordshire. Happy Xmas to one and all…….. enjoy the break everyone!!

A very busy day for the Greenlight Developments Team:

  1. Completion of a land sale to Taylor Wimpey (West Midlands) for 132 dwellings with a negotiated affordable planning permission of just 2 no. fixed equity units.
  2. Exchange of contracts and submission (in the same day!!) of a detailed planning application with Kier Living for 55 dwellings on our Rushwick site in Worcestershire.

With another land sale and exchange targeted for December 2016, the challenge continues to make 2016 a record year……
